Joyceville Public School Newsletter

We are finally starting to see some beautiful spring weather, and with that comes an exciting and busy stretch of the school year ahead. There are many great things happening in our school and community, and we’re looking forward to all that the coming weeks will bring.

One of our biggest upcoming events is our Country Fair on May 30th. This is always a highlight of the year for our students and families. Our School Advisory Council (SAC) plays a huge role in making this event possible, and they are always looking for volunteers to help out. More information will be shared as we move into May, but if you are interested in supporting, we would love to have you involved.

We are also very excited to share that members of our staff and SAC had the opportunity to attend an event on Wednesday evening where we received a generous $68,000 grant from the Pittsburgh Community Benefit Fund Committee. We are incredibly grateful for this support. These funds will allow us to begin revamping our school library into a modern, flexible learning space that will greatly benefit our students. We would like to sincerely thank the committee for their continued investment in our school and for all the wonderful work they do in our community.

Family Engagement & School Climate Survey

The Limestone District School Board is inviting families to participate in their upcoming Family Engagement and School Climate Survey. This survey is an important opportunity for parents and caregivers to share their thoughts and experiences about their child’s school and help guide future planning and decision-making across the board.

Your feedback helps us better understand what is working well and where we can continue to grow to support our students and families.

You can learn more and access the survey here:
